Joshua Haupt is an Addiction Counsellor and the founder of Centre Summit, a private outpatient clinic dedicated to providing specialized services in the field of addiction counselling. With professional designations that include Certified Canadian Addiction Counsellor, Certified Canadian Problem Gambling Counsellor and Certified Sex Addiction Specialist, Joshua brings extensive clinical expertise across substance use, behavioural addictions and co-occurring concerns.

Drawing from both professional training and lived experience in addiction and recovery, Joshua offers a compassionate, non-judgmental and practical approach to treatment. He is deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of addiction, rebuild hope and create sustainable recovery. Through Centre Summit, Joshua strives to provide personalized, evidence-based care that empowers clients to reclaim their lives with dignity and resilience.

Binyamin (Yamin) Weiss (he/him)

Binyamin (Yamin) Weiss (he/him)

Bio and credentials

Binyamin (Yamin) Weiss is a social work counsellor in good standing with the Quebec Order of Social Workers (OTSTCFQ). With over 5 years of specialized addiction clinical experience in rehabilitation, outpatient and private settings, and 12 years of long-term recovery from severe addictions, he has worked with over 150 clients.

Long before entering the field as a professional, Yamin spent several years immersed in recovery communities, beginning with inpatient treatment and transitioning to aftercare and volunteering in several capacities, many of which continue.

Using a holistic approach to healing on social functioning issues ranging from physical, emotional and sexual dysfunction, disability, family and romantic relationships, addiction, stress, homelessness, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and criminality, Yamin blends personal and professional experience with academic and evidence-based practice to provide honest, compassionate and responsive guidance to meet clients where they are and accompany them toward where they are trying to go.

Peer Support Specialist

Jason Schwartz is a trained Peer Support Specialist through the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF). He combines professional peer support training with lived experience in addiction and recovery to help individuals navigate the challenges of early recovery and personal growth.

Jason has experience working in an inpatient addiction treatment setting where he provided direct support to individuals in the early stages of recovery. Through this work, he developed a strong understanding of the challenges people face as they begin to rebuild their lives and establish a foundation for long-term recovery.

As a young adult in recovery himself, Jason brings authenticity, empathy and relatability to his work. He is passionate about helping others find connection, purpose and meaning beyond substance use. His approach emphasizes accountability, community, personal growth and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone.

Outside of his work, Jason remains actively involved in his own recovery through 12-step programs, meditation, physical fitness and ongoing personal development.
